The Boudoir Experience

Here's what you can expect from me.

Values are everything. When you choose me as your boudoir photographer, we completely guarantee:

✓ Privacy
✓ Transparency
✓ Professionalism

How to Prepare

A few notes before we get started.

Before we worry about anything else, I like to start by saying you need to take care of yourself before your shoot.

✓ You are you and I do NOT want to change that
✓ Use this as a basic guide to help you if you need it
✓ Please reach out if there's anything you want to know

Moisturize and hydrate your body.

Are you already doing this? Teach me your ways!

I'm always trying to drink more water, but the day before your session and the day of, please hydrate! It helps with bloating and skin issues like lines from restrictive clothing. Additionally, please take a hot bath, relax, and lotion yourself up the night before your session.

This is all about pampering yourself - get into the zone!

Wear loose fitting clothes and eat.

SUPER IMPORTANT: please refrain from wearing any hair ties or tight clothing the day before and the day of your session.

Additionally, boudoir is kind of like yoga — you'll be using muscles you may not have used in a while. Please eat before your session and do not start any new cleanses or fasting regimens.

Practice your catwalk.

Alright, maybe that's a little dramatic but you get the idea, right?

Pinterest is a girl's best friend. Create a board of inspired shots, outfits, and hair styles — whatever will help you strut your stuff! I will help with poses and styling, but only you are you! Any pre-session fun you have with this will enhance your experience.

Girl, wash your face.

Not literally (well, maybe), but if you're getting hair and makeup done, just come with a clean face ready for your whole glow-up. If you prefer to do your own hair and makeup, that's rad! Let's talk about that before you book.

Paint your nails, get a pedicure, or do whatever will help you feel extra snazzy while adding an extra pop to your photos!

Waxing, shaving, and tanning.

Alright, listen — this is your session and you can go all-out glam style or not. It's all about you, your style, and what feels right for you.

However, when tanning, please be sure you tan however you've tanned before. I don't suggest going in the day before and accidentally becoming a lobster. That may or may not have happened to me many years ago the day before a wedding. Oops.

For waxing, I suggest a few days before the session.

What about nails?

Use this session as an excuse to pamper yourself!

Whether that means taking the time to do a mani-pedi on yourself, or booking an appointment for someone else to, it's always a good idea.

When doing polish, it’s visually best to have the polish on your nails and toes match. If your polish is chipped, you will be asked to remove it before your shoot.

How to Prepare

How will the day go?

Arrival

On the day of your session, you'll show up, be swept away, and pampered from head to toe like the goddess you are.

I'll prepare for your session in the days and weeks leading up to your date. We'll discuss everything to get better acquainted while get you top-notch hottie level in our hair and makeup chair.

Either during, or once you have finished, we will discuss all of your outfits and decide what you will look the most amazing in. Your session will last about three to four hours.

After Your Session

Depending on which package you selected, we will likely meet in about a week to reveal your images. This is when you decide what images you want in your album, to print, and more.

If we are not meeting in person (we're busy, I get it), then you and I can discuss the next steps when we wrap up!

What to Wear

The Outfit Guide

Tank tops, boxers, and jerseys.

Boudoir does not have to be all about lingerie. Some of my favorite images are with simple bralettes, tank tops, Bill's t shirts, and more. Wear what makes you feel confident.

Treat yourself to lingerie.

Even with the client closet, most clients bring their own items and we usually use a mix of both! You can also donate pieces you may not like or want to wear anymore to my client closet for a discount.

Explore the client closet.

YASSSS. I am building a luxury client closet with vast sizes and styles to give you options to choose from. Please bring a black and nude color g-string or thong to wear while wearing anything from the client closet.

Sheets, blankets, and handcuffs.

Maybe naked is best, eh? Maybe you have some fetish props? I have seen it all and I'm open to it all. If there’s an item you want to run by me, feel free to reach out!
